Bio
Since 2011, David has written The Greater Marin, the county's first blog dedicated to its planning, transportation, and urban affairs. In 2017, he received a Master’s of Regional Planning from Cornell University and now splits his time between private practice at Edmondson Planning and Design and as the transportation planner for one of the largest cities in Maryland.
David was born and raised in San Anselmo, California. Along with his sister, he attended Wade Thomas Elementary, White Hill Middle, and Sir Francisco Drake High.
Inspired by Greater Greater Washington, David started The Greater Marin, applying the best practices of smart growth and market urbanist planning to the very different environment of Marin County.
David lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Anna Rozzo. His family - mother, father, sister, brother-in-law and nephew - all continue to live in Marin. While he is far from his hometown, he hardly ever stops thinking of it.
